The journey of the brand began when 3 Scotland Rugby players came up with the idea to sell biltong as a fantastic pre and post-training snack. It was their mission to further the understanding of what biltong is and the benefits it provides .
The new owners endorsed their same vision. After emigrating to the UK 18 months ago, Roger, a passionate foody and outdoor enthusiast, and his eldest son Bryce, a cricketer, found it challenging to find biltong in the UK that tasted like home. Together they decided to develop a nutritious and authentic meat snack, meticulously crafted from a cherished South African recipe.
